Hope you're ready for the Solstice/Make Music Day! I'm sending to the newsletter plus the regular email list, just in case you miss one or the other.
We'll set up as usual at Pelagic, ready to start at 7. Unlike the normal Pelagic gig, we'll play a setlist. Check Dropbox, and I'll bring some paper copies of the list only (not the songs), too.
Also, Bill noted that, at last Thursday's jam, some of you were having trouble with a chord or two in "California Dreamin'". He added the chord shapes to the sheet we use. The song otherwise is the same. If you know the chords, no need to worry (.... about a thing, ... cause every little thing ... oops, sorry). I'll also add this to Dropbox.
Alfred Music (the guy had to have something to do when Batman was away) sent some extremely rudimentary "intro to uke" books that we can give away Tuesday. We should metaphorically scatter them with a leaf blower. If you have friends, neighbors, relatives who may be interested in picking up a uke, take one or three with you.
The forecast looks pretty good for late June — upper 80s, some clouds, a light breeze, no rain. We'll take it!
